    Make sure that your Microsoft Defender Security Intelligence is up to date (search for updates in Windows Update).

    IF you are on Windows, of course, which you didn't mention.

    Much apreciated. Worked perfectly after your suggestion. Microsoft updated major update and then security and defender updates.

    I solved this problem with Komplete Kontrol update by installing - NTKDaemon installer.zip. after deleting the one I had
