Transposing on S61 MK3 - WHY IS IT NOT VISIBLE on the LCD!?!

If I transpose semi-tones on the S61, MK3 keyboard, why is it not shown on the LCD?

It is an ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL feature that I would expect of a keyboard costing a fraction of this one.

I have been a komplete use for the past 15 years and can't believe that this feature is missing!

NI, please add the transpose value to the LCD screen. It is essential.

Thank you

Yeah - it would be nice to have that.

As a workaround, I've configured different LED colors to indicate the octaves above and below the default. For example:

    • middle 5 octaves have Plum LEDs

    • first octave below have Green LEDs
    • second octave below have Yellow LEDs
    • third octave below have Red LEDs

    • first octave above have Blue LEDs
    • second octave above have Purple LEDs
    • third octave above have Fuchsia LEDs

This allows me to effectively see the currently applied transpose, whether it's octaves or a number of semitones.

Yes, that would be nice to have indicated on LCD, I agree.

I also agree that it would be nice. But why does the OP feel the need to scream this at the top of his (typed) lungs?

There are a lot of things to get mad about in life. Is this really one of those things? I mean really; I want retractable knobs and faders for transport, and I'm not going to get those ever. Should I start typing in all caps too?😏
