I have been an NI customer since 2015 and have been very satisfied so far. Unfortunately, since the introduction of the new keyboard and my update to the corresponding version, there has been, as I unfortunately only read later, significant problem. I can no longer use my beloved and previously perfectly functioning Kontrol S 49 keyboard, which has worked perfectly up to now.

Now I have already found out that I have to reset the Komplete Kontrol driver, to an older version. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly how to do what and in which order have to do. I am not a computer crack. The community board is not helpful, because my English is also limited.

I would therefore like to ask you to send me a step-by-step guide, please in German, so that I can use the keyboard again as before.

And one more question: Can I use Kontakt 8 alongside Kontakt 7?

I would like to buy and use one or the other Kontakt 8 instrument, e.g. the one with the 8 string guitar. I work with an M1 Max, currently still with Sonoma 14.6.1. It would be really nice if you could help me. Thank you very much in advance.

    you can download the KK V2 software which is what you need for the MK1 keyboard here:

    Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 - Last VST2 supported version

    However, the MK1 driver may not even install on the latest M1 OS since being discontinued now, NI are no longer updating it and macOS kind of forces devs to update their drivers and software or drop support. I can't detail instructions on what to do, you have to learn some things yourself.

    No idea on Kontakt, I don't use it.
