Sync in Kinetic Metal

I'm trying to get the motion in Kinetic Metal to sync with the Tempo in Logic Pro. I'm using the Burning Dryer sound, which produces a kind of wub-wub effect, and I want to get this in time. I've understood that the sync button is supposed to achieve this, but it's not doing it in any way I can work out. The speed of the sounds itself changes with the Tempo knob, but it's never in time with the main project.

Any ideas?

    I could be wrong… but from what I recall about when I was using Kinetic Metal, some presets will never be in sync the way you want

    Bummer. Oh well, I'll have to try and manage without the motion then. Thanks for the reply.
