using traktor + z1 hardware on zoom

Hello, I recently purchased a refurbished Dell XPS laptop and would like to know what I need to set up so I can mix using my Z1 controller with traktor while on zoom. I would like to be able to connect my shure microphone and headphones and know I need something in between to interface between the laptop and the Z1 for this but am going around in circles trying to figure it out.

I am not a big tech head - just tend to know what I need to know - so would appreciate if someone could recommend/suggest the simplest set up, in basic english that I can understand including photos or signposting me to any tutorials that could be helpful.

Thanks in advance for anyone able to help.

to pass audio through from Traktor to zoom… you will need to setup virtual audio channels

and given that you are likely using a windowsOS… use VB banana or VB potato

the setup can be a little daunting… if you are unfamiliar with routing

the essential part is you have a physical asio supported audio interface…

you can figure out whats happening in this video….

    just think

    source audio —> VBpotato—>zoom

whats occurring in the video is

    spotify—>VBpotato—>maschine

Hi thanks for coming back so quickly. I'm not sure that this is what I am looking for.

    1. I need to know what external hardware I need to connect my z1 so I can use its functions externally when mixing and it be heard through zoom - at the moment I am doing it manually in the traktor software. At the moment if I do that, people can't hear the music, so I have been just using the computer mouse to mix on the software which can be jerky.
    2. I also want to be able to connect my headphones to the external Z1 and be able to use the headphone cueing but also hear what people say in the zoom room.
    3. I would also like to be able to connect my shure microphone rather than using a usb headset, which again can be heard through zoom (I don't need it to go through the traktor software though).

It may be that I need the software you are sharing but I need to go back a step to what external hardware I need to connect the z1, headphones and mic.

    Thanks
