Upright Bass plays Logic Melody?

Just upgraded to have the Upright Bass. I have a MIDI bassline in Logic ready and it's been played quite well by the standard double bass in Logic. But NI Upright Bass doesn't play certain notes, seems they are too low for this instrument? I can't understand why since it's the 'same' instrument with same range of notes?

What's happening here and what can I do?

    Well it's not likely to be the 'same' instrument since the one in Logic is an entirely different plugin than the NI Upright Bass and each will have their own definitions of where you play the bass notes as displayed on the keyboard. Normally you would select the Melody version of Upright Bass along with whatever tone you prefer. Upright Bass defines the Bass notes as C2 through C5 which is probably slightly different than what Logic double bass defines.
