Grid marker issue with 4.2

I had to return to the latest stable version because 4.2 messes up grid markers when I analyze tracks. It randomly places grid markers, and when you delete a marker and try to add it to the correct beat, it adds it to the next beat and does not put it where you want it. I hope that makes sense. Anyone else having this issue?
I'm on an MBP M2 Pro running 15.4.1

Grid markers now snap to the closest transient or beat (when gridded). Deactivate SNAP to place it anywhere.
Edit: This new behaviour is on the list of ''issues'' addressed by the latest update. Check the post.
