INFO:
The old S2 and S4 have a special toggle. When in centre position, the toggle is set to OFF, when off centre position, the toggle is set to ON. This cannot be prevented and is even triggered when you adjust the filter position by any other means (like mouse/GUI or a different MIDI controller) as long as the device is connected and recognized by Traktor. If you own any of the all-in-one controllers from NI with integrated soundcard and cue monitor knobs and outputs, you recognize this forced behaviour with the software controls for monitoring being greyed out and unresponsive.
Although you can assign controls separately to toggle Filter/MixerFX, as soon as you adjust the knob value, the toggle will automatically set to the above specified value.

Hey!
Can you send screenshots on how are you mapping it?0 -
I think those encoders (on old S2 and S4) are designed to push-reset the filter/gain parameter to center position. Rendering the filter on/off feature practically useless on this units.
Maybe add a modifier like.
Shift not held + turn encoder = Mixer Effect ONShift held + turn encoder = Mixer Effect OFF

Hi Stevan, thank you for your assistance. I use the knob as a low pass and high pass filter. I need to create a mod for the toggle to reset the filter parameter to the center when I toggle the know. Can you help with this as I am new to mapping. Thanks a lot

And same is for Z2. That is why I say it is useless unless it is overmapped with by a shift modifier.
