MACBOOK PRO M4 CHIP/ TRAKTOR P 4 / CDJ NEXUS 900 CONNECTION?

HI Ya'll.

I have an Xone 96 using the USB 1 connected to the M4 Max Laptop, OS 15.2 Sequoia.

Running Traktor Pro 4 V.3.11.1 17

CDJ 900 NEXUS Running V. 1.31 / Connected to line input 1 for the Left deck - Right Deck connected to line/ch 2. With the Traktor Control CDs playing track #2.

-How do I get the CDJs to control the software?

What I've come across has not helped me connect this ..

What are the analog connections, and what are the digital settings needed in Traktor Prefs?

    Don't the CDJ 900 NEXUS work in HID mode with traktor? Or why are you using the Traktor Control CDs?

    As you have an mixer with USB / Audio interface connected, you don't need to do anything audio related with the CDJs.

    AFAIK you just have to connect USB to your computer and press the Rekordbox button.

    The Traktor Control CDs will be for when there is no compatible mixer

    No, you only need the CD when the CDJs are so old they don't have a USB connection for the computer. CDJ 3000, 2000 NXS2, 2000, and 900 models, and XJD-700, XDJ-1000 .mk2? should all work with just the USB cable.

    If the mixer does not have a sound interface, then you need to use the soundcards inside the CDJs. You need to link the soundcards together somehow.

    Thank you, Carlos. After your question, I realized both the decks and the mixer had to be connected to the computer.

    The Traktor Control CDs will be for when there is no compatible mixer, got it.. The link you provided will explain that setup as well.
