Cannot post answer

New member here, just posted a question last night about checking Intel or Apple Silicon versions of 3rd party instruments. Got 2 answers today, but I cannot reply to them. I initially was typing a reply, then I pasted some text in, and the window redrew for some reason and the text I had typed in disappeared. What's worse is I cannot type into the "leave a comment" field (also the quote button no longer works), although I can for other question threads.

Yes, I rebooted just for grins :-) on a Mac, running the latest Sequoia 15.4.1. Strange, as I could obviously type in when I create the question in the first place, and can type in to answer other threads… Any ideas?

If so, then you can post. It is impossible to not be able to post.

It is also possible that some of your comments been saved as drafts. Please check this page below to see if this is the case. If so, then click the draft and continue posting from there:

Frankly… no.

Even being a new user, you should be able to write there. Only limitations are about posing links.

Sounds like you can enter text into the "leave a Comment" area in my other thread? How odd that only the original poster can't… I guess I'll have to repost everything from the original thread in a new thread, including the answers I wish to reply to :-(

Try another browser never used before and with no extensions and all cookies accepted (my suggestions for alternative browsers would be e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi browser and Opera browser ,depending on what you do not usually use)

Thanks you Sunborn, that was the answer - I had somehow inadvertently saved a partial reply as a draft, but was unaware of that, and did not know that prevented one from entering text. Deleting the draft fixed it.
