How to put license in iLok long after you downloaded the program

I recently bought a second computer so that I can compose while travelling and am in the process of putting all my licenses into iLok. But how do I do this with NI? I originaly downloaded it to my computer but the licenses don't exist in my iLok. What should I do?

No possibility of iLok licensing for Native Instruments as far as I know.

Native Access is the only authorization mechanism available to manage your NI licensing.

So how will I access those plugins on my other computer when travelling?

You need to install all plugins on every device.

You are allowed three installs on three separate machines under the current licensing agreement.

This means installing Native Access on your travelling machine - along with all the plugins you require.

I have all my important libraries on SSDs. Would I be able to access them on my SSDs from my other computer?

As long as the SSD is in place PRIOR to any install/use of Native Access and all libraries are properly (Manually) "located" by each copy of Native Access - I am sure it will work.

Storing Libraries on an External Drive for both Mac and Windows

We do not recommend storing your libraries and content on an external drive to be used by both a Mac and Windows computer. It may cause performance issues.

If using Native Instruments software on a Mac and Windows computer, we recommend using separate external drives specifically for each OS.

For best results, your external drive should be formatted the same as your operating system's native format. These are : Windows ; NTFS , Mac OS X 10.12 and earlier ;HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) . macOS 10.13 and later ; Apple File System (APFS)
