    Why, what should be different in a new iteration? How is this a mess? The devices available are high quality and durable with a lot of features and intrinsically very moddable. Why wait?

    tbh: what do you miss on f.e S4Mk3 ? for me, there´s nothing missing

    More likely to see an F1 Mk2 first, IMO. Particularly with the push towards pattern players and for better use of finer stems controls and manipulation, etc, not to mention bringing the form factor into line with the X1 Mk3 and Z1 Mk2. Not to mention it is practically well overdue for an update.

    Only thing I can see with an S3 Mk2 is maybe a Deck C line input as per the existing Deck D input, but that's a bit of a stretch, and maybe a bigger screen to put it more in the middle of the S2/S4 as per the additional input. S4 might maybe have revised screens or something akin to how Denon put a display in the middle of the jogwheel. Not quite much to tweak there, IMO, unless there's something like a S4 + secretly in the works for a stand-alone mode, or putting MIDI mode back in or allowing for power off of a USB-C input.
