How to record midi out of NI VSTi (FM8, Massive, etc...) ?

I don't think either plugin really does much in terms of manipulating MIDI.

What are you trying to do?

I tried to record the arpegiator midi lines out of these synth plugins, though they're very cool. Kontakt does it.

You probably mean the Step modulator inside Massive. It is what it is, an internal modulator. It doesn't process and output MIDI.

FM8 does have an arpeggiator, but, it doesn't have the ability to output MIDI.
