Any way to batch process multiple files into Stems using Traktor

I know that it is possible to generate one Stem file from one "normal" file, but what if I want to process most of my music library?

Is it anyhow possible using Traktor and not relying on other tools, as the Stem separation algorithm in Traktor seems to be one of the best out there!

In addition is it possible to have my original files replaced with the Stem files, instead of them being created in another folder and linked, so I can easily carry them around?

map the stems function to a keyboard key. Run a macro that repeatedly hits down arrow, then the mapped key. Just make sure you don’t do more than 400 at once.

As of now the answer to both questions is no. Maybe this changes with future releases of Traktor Pro.

But you don't have to wait until a stem separation has finished before you select the next track and add it to the queue. But only one by one. Somewhere I read about a solution someone has built for himself: Mapped Stem separation to a key and built a batch script that works through a playlist then. But not sure where I found this.

Don't know what was NIs idea behind the way they manage Stem files. But replacing the original file isn't a real good idea in all cases. Traktor currently only creates stems in AAC format - even if the original file is an AIFF or WAV.

Perhaps this third-party software may help: Nuo-Stems
