Traktor Z1

Hello.  Do you still sell the Traktor Z1?  I came in contact with it recently through a friend who gave me my first real DJ lesson, and I really like it for its portability and versatility (I need something I can travel with).  I don't see it on The NI website though.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, which is the newest version -- the MK1/MK2/MK3, and what are the notable differences, if any?  I'm a brand new beginner so just looking to get started with something slim and portable.

Thank you. I can't wait to start djing and live my true passion!!!!!!!!!!

Mk2 is the latest. Availability is on/off the last few weeks and depends on the country you are in.

This is the page where it appears when it is available again:

And this is the device page:

Thank you very much! I found it on amazon for a great price but I'm not sure if it's the Mk1 or the MK2.

Any idea if the 22180 model is the Mk1 or the Mk2? https://shorturl.at/Vqzah

    Traktor Kontrol Z1 (Mk1):

    Traktor (no Kontrol) Z1 Mk2:

    Easy to tell apart.

Ah okay, the /OLED display is a dead giveaway. In your opinion, is it worth the upgrade? Will I be sorry later if I get the mk1, or it just a upgrade that doesn't really matter?

Is it just an expensive upsell that doesn't really matter?

I don't have the mk2, but IMO the buttons to change the filters are the feature I would actually really like, more than the screens!

    Plus:

    • Out of the box STEM controls.
    • Secondary Main Audio Out (Jack)
    • MixerFX controls
    • Screen Feedback
    • Sleek new design (looks good, feels good).
    • QML mapping, allowing complete redesign of controls, including screens (if you are into that sort of versatility)
    • Compatibility to current and future versions of Traktor Pro (Mk1 support will probably be dropped in the future)
    • Traktor Pro 4 software license included
    • Several of the buttons have alternate functions out of the box, allowing for limited deck controls.

^^ Ah, okay. I'd rather get a Mk2, personally. Mk1 is good though, although i'd only buy it if it's offered for less than 150 €, was in perfect working order and if i already had a TP4 license.

one last question: if I buy the Z1 Mk2 brand new, you said it comes with Traktor 4 pro license. Is this license forever, or is the license for a certain amount of time?

The update is from TP3 to TP4. So, it's essentially forever (no subscription, full version) until they push TP5 (years away), and then it'll probably be another half price update. Nothing is cheaper on the market, except FREE DJ software. Still, this makes the Mk2 cost less than the Mk1+License.
