Native Access confusion and licensing per computer and Komplete 12&14 UCE questions.

Basically I do not want to intrude on any license/Serial number hits per Bundle as an Example all of My 3 old legacy OSX computers have used all 3 licenses for K8 and K11Ultimate. Used done. unless computer drive dies renew.

I have 3 licenses per Komplete 12U & 14U both Collectors editions, correct?

So when I download Komplete 12 Ultimate CE I have know Idea if I am intruding on Komplete 14 Ultimate CE license with the download being vague and not a bundle for that specific Komplete bundle.

This is what I am trying to clarify. I understand I have to look into the Compatibility chart but its a mess and why is it not a "bundle" for each Komplete bundles I own in my Native Access app?

It is just everything with zero organization. Only Option is select what you want or all, not the actual Bundle K12UCE per say or K14UCE or K11U. See my point?

Some of these (a lot) sound banks as well as apps overlap into OSX current so How am I to decipher how it is used by license?

So if I install on Windows 10 or 11 I can used the Hard Drive that came with K12U ? Basically use Native Access old version let it install K12UCE and then it will use serial 1 of the 3 and update what it should>??

And it will only install K12UCE license serial for "1 of the 3" serial licenses to use on 3 computers?

Maybe that simplifies my Questions.

I am confused as to what or how I am supposed to figure out how this is going to install on OSX Monterey 12 when all of my Komplete collections are mixed online in NATIVEAccess

I am not using 14 collector edition yet nor do I want to.

I just want to install Komplete 12 collector's edition on Monterey OSX 12

I have know way of figuring out what was in the HArd Drive INstaller as in Apps and content and Native INstruments has ZERO info Komplete 14 COllector edition or anything just takes you to Komplete 15 info. Unreal.

Will Native access know what to install? ANyone?

I updated NAtive Acces cause the HDD installer version was ancient and did not work and I also gave my Product Serial for Komplete 12 collector Edition in Native access.

Best to know straight off in a "general" sense that Monterey is no longer supported by Apple or by NI.

That said - Komplete is not a product - it is collections of products. All these products standalone in each bundle. Some of these products "might" still work under Monterey. Many others will not.

The latest version of Native Access (3.17.0) does still support Monterey so you can still possibly get some of your products working. However Native Access cannot help you definitively determine what will work on that OS and what will not.

Many products that were in Komplete 12 - might still be part of Komplete 15 - but have been upgraded to the latest versions - so if you pick a product in Native Access - with that OS - NA will download and attempt to install the very latest version of said product - not the version that came out back in Oct 2018.

It may work for you - or it may not. There is really no way to guarantee success with a bundle that old or an OS that is no longer in support.

    Good luck.

Did you upgrade your copy of K12 to K14 or did you buy another copy? If you upgraded then the licence allows you to install on three systems as long as you're only using one at a time. If you bought an entirely new licence you can install on a maximum of six.

Full details are here - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209559469-On-How-Many-Computers-Can-I-Activate-My-Native-Instruments-Product

The installations aren't counted with a hard lockout like some licensing systems. I've installed on test systems then just trashed them many times without uninstalling and never hit a case where I was told I've exceeded a count.

There's a spreadsheet containing what's-in-which-version here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FuwkqEc7CqMwjRVjgcy2KhJlkVl3jTT3Ze1RsVFvzC4/edit?usp=sharing which I believe is maintained by @gNNY on this forum.
