trying to pair 4track to Serato dj pro

hello!!!

I just received a mint, Numark 4trak FX2 nd I would love some help trying to make this work! my wife is an artist and we both use Serato and work together, which can be interesting at times, lol! id love to to get this girl fired up and stay married in the process! please PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

    You do realise this is not the Serato or Numark forum?

    First up, this is a Traktor controller. Second, it's not supported by Serato - which means that the audio interface won't be accessible, and you'd also have to map every single knob, fader and button yourself, which although it should be possible, is far from the best option.

    Your options are: Use Traktor or VirtualDJ, which will give you full support (controls and audio) or map everything yourself in Serato and use a separate audio interface that's supported by Serato.

    I just noticed from your profile that you're on MacOS 12. My Googling suggests that the last 4Trak driver was for MacOS 10 so you may be out of luck there too.

    Sorrybmy spelling was wrong! Thanks for your knowledge! I just really wanted it to work! It was actually left to me by a great friend that passed recently, and I wanted to use it at his celebration of life! After the tone of your comment, I’ll definitely go with virtual DJ! I wouldn’t want to be involved in groups that have rude condescending members! I hope you’re much better at producing art/ music, than you are at answering questions politely!!! Have a wonderful day!
