Collection problem in traktor pro 4.

But importing tracks from external USB drives, flash drives, external drives into traktor pro is not profitable. Of what I am sure. Here is an external drive of 2 terabytes on Transcend StoreJet 25M3S, I store my music on it, imported a folder from it into traktor pro 4, this folder will take 120 gigabytes, in this folder I have already sorted tracks by musical styles, and these folders were in this folder. From time to time I disconnect this external drive from USB. And hence the problem. At this moment, when this external drive was disconnected, I launched traktor pro 4, it loaded normally, and it started blinking red at the bottom of traktor pro 4, where it analyzes the tracks, that the tracks were not found. Then I exited the traktor pro 4 software. I have already connected this external drive to USB, I start traktor pro 4, then I go to this folder in traktor pro4, and from this list, or playlists, or from this collection, I don't know what it is called correctly in the traktor pro software, I load the tracks to the deck, it loads the track into the deck, but when playing the track it gives an error that the track cannot be read. It was the traktor pro software that damaged the collection, the collection file, broke it. It is true. I really ask the Native-Instruments programmers to think about how to fix and improve this in the traktor pro 4 software. but this is a very serious problem, even during operation it can happen that the power supply contact of the external drive may simply not make contact and accidentally turn off, you plug it back in and the tracks will not be read, because it was the traktor pro 4 software that damaged this collection file where the collection is stored. This is my idea of how to improve this. You have imported tracks from an external drive into traktor pro 4, these tracks will be stored in the traktor pro 4 software buffer in this partition where the traktor pro 4 software is installed, even if the external drive is accidentally disconnected, these tracks will be read and played from this list, without this media from which you imported them.

I think I have a similar problem. I had some friends over and we imported files from a USB stick mounted on D: drive.
Now Traktor 4 keeps telling me that it can't find D: drive and can't load my collection.
I'm sure I'll figure it out and fix this, but seriously, I shouldn't have to. Why is file management so terrible? Why does it take a couple of minutes to shut down Traktor each time because it is "saving my collection" even when I haven't played a single track?
Luckily I'm a bedroom DJ - I can't imagine trusting this at a paid gig
