    • Is it best to download Komplete Kontrol on a external hard drive ?

    Currently I have Pro Tools downloaded on my imac and the sessions are saved on a hard drive, if I get Komplete Kontrol 13 Ultimate, should it be kept on the hard drive or to the computer?

      Hello,


      you can install the libraries on an external drive, you set that in native access before you start downloading/installing anything. That saves space on the internal drive, ultimate comes with lots of libraries, and works normally well.

      Keep the apps themselves on the internal drive. Leave them where the installer puts them, and don't move them afterwards. As UWE said above, you can put the libraries anywhere you'd like.

      Content location can be on external drive, the other stuff should go on the internal drive. Sorry for the delayed reply. Content is all the big libraries.
