    Anybody else unable to record automation from the XY pad?

    With Ashlight, say, in Cubase I can just click the 'w' to record the automation and record any xy movement as two automation tracks - I can't do the same on Saffron.

      Yes but only using keyboard controls, not using the mouse - there has been discussion of this already

      So for me I have been able to record automation either by moving the XY with a combination of MW and Expression (it is set to those cc's by default but you can change them in the instrument options page), or by moving the knobs which the XY params are mapped to on my Kontrol keyboard (either in Kontakt 7 or Komplete Kontrol)

      Just not with the mouse

      You can also draw it directly (but I rarely do that)

      Actually this will be fixed in a coming update for the library.

      Good - I think 2 things need to change:

      1. Mouse movements of the XY should be automatable using host automation (not just MIDI)
      2. The performance template should place the XY controls on the first user page rather than only accessible via the EDIT controls on the Kontrol keyboard
