KONTAKT AAX not installing

Just installed Kontakt and while the standalone works great I cannot find the plugin in Protools 12. There is no listing for Kontakt in the AAX directory, nor is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins, where every other plugin lives. Is it actually installing? Is there more I should try?

Installed and uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing. Not a ProTools newbie.

    Ah yes. I see the plugin in that directory and I am on PT Ultimate 2024.3.0 on an HDX system (my error, I just don't think about it much)

    And it did finally show up after a couple restarts. Thanks!

    Well, this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins is for 32 bits plug-ins, Kontakt 7 has no 32 bit version.

    You will find the Kontakt 7 AAX plug-in here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins

    Pro Tools 12 was discontinued years ago (in 2018 I believe). Kontakt 7 has not been tested in this environment, we can't guarantee compatibility or functionality on it. Kontakt 7 is supported on the most recent versions of ProTools.
