Komplete Kontrol S49 Mk2
I have an S49 Mk2 keyboard which I want to start using as a midi controller for GarageBand.
Other than downloading the relevant driver, do I have to do anything else?
Just wondering whether anybody went through the process or I would appreciate an advice from support

For a simple Midi Controller use, you only need to select your KK from your DAW Midi options, but, you can do much more with a full host integration. You can control many of the DAW functions directly from the KK keyboard.
Read the KK S49 MK2 Manual, especially page 99, section 11 "Host Integration". :-)

I will go through the Manual and try to connect to my laptop first to check the operation.
My aim is to connect the s49 to my desktop when l get back home in five weeks
