Kontakt make my disk jumps to 100% after loading one patch

Hi,

as discussion title says, often, also with just one patch loaded, kontakt make disk jump to 100%. How can I fix?

    Which library or libraries, and what's your computer specs, particularly what sort of hard drives and how are they formatted?

    Spitfire ones, above all. I've a windows 10, i7, with 12gb of ram ddr4. My libraries are located on an external drive NTFS of 2TB

    Is that drive SSD or regular HDD?

    It's a regular HDD

    That's probably the cause of disk spiking. Try increasing the DFD buffer size globally (Options->Memory).
