How can I fix “Plugin not found” message in logic 10.8?

I have done everything (sometimes multiple times) suggested with no remedy. I did not have this issue until the update to version 3.0.2 and update to logic 10.8. When I spoke with Apple, the nice gentleman said, “It’s not a Logic problem, contact Native Instruments.”

Had the same issue happening again after I recently updated. Seems every time they release updates the Komplete Kontrol database becomes corrupted, you'd hope NI would learn 😤. I'm not sure if you tried this fix but it works for me.
I can't post links directly (not enough posts yet) so you need to remove the space between https:// and support.

Hope this helps.

Which plugin/s specifically is it saying are not found? Have you opened standalone first and allowed it to update plugins and the database? Also are you running in Rosetta mode (if you are wanting to use VST2 plugins) and if so do you have the path in KK settings to VST2 plugins (it does not add that now by default)

@jhuntersbts Can you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone? Is everything functional?
Do Logic and Komplete Kontrol both have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
Can you post a screenshot of the error message?

Thank you for your response. Yes, all instruments (so far) work in the Komplete Kontrol standalone. Kontakt and other third party plugins work within Logic (only instruments in KK no longer load (in new and old projects).
I have rescanned (more than a couple times) and done everything I know to do within the Plugin Manager in Logic. I have uninstalled and reinstalled KK, and I have followed the standard recommended process from Native Instruments including removing files prior to the rescan.
I am away from my studio, so I do not have the screenshot - the message is:
Plug-in not found. Please open the standalone application to rescan, or rescan manually in the Plug-in preferences.

...and yes, both Logic and KK have full disk access.

@jhuntersbts Can you post a screenshot of the error message?
Can you try to open the Komplete Kontrol standalone application and do a rescan there? Once the rescan is complete, do you still get the same error message?

As I have mentioned in https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/8615/feature-wish-failure-mode-diagnostics#latest already, the KK diagnostics is completely non-existing. In such a case, it would really be helpful to find out, which plugin is actually missing.
