Native Access 3.12.1 Windows Unable to Start
After updating to the latest version of NA (3.12.1 as of this post), I was stuck on the “Please grant permission to Native Access to install dependencies.” page.
Native access has worked fine before the update, and I haven't changed any settings.
The usual uninstall-reinstall didn't help either.
I have tried updating to the latest version of Visual C++ and reinstalling NTKDaemon per other posts to no avail.
I am running Windows 11 x64 build 22631.3880.
If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know.

Hey, have you followed steps found here yet? https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/13712583860125-Native-Access-Error-Please-grant-permission-to-Native-Access-to-install-dependencies

Yep. Installed that version of NTK Daemon and reran Native Access as administrator, but that didn't seem to fix the issue.

Hello us3r.nam3s,
You have mentioned that you used the direct download link in one of the posts, however just to be sure that it was the correct version of it, can you please try to download the latest version of the NTKDaemon using this direct download link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11ljCs1ZowUWBptK3OKLF5GwG_n9iWZgx/view?usp=drive_link
And then, please restart your computer and Native Access one more time.
Please let me know about the results afterwards☺️

The one I have currently installed on my machine (which I obtained from the drive link) is version 1.19.0.3 (which matches the version on the drive). I assume that is the latest version of Daemon?
Because if so, that didn't seem to fix the issue and Native Access still refuses to install dependencies.0 -
Hey us3r.nam3s, yes it sound like the latest version, then I would kindly suggest to create a support ticket or open a chat support using this link https://bit.ly/NI_support_NA so our team can check what is causing the issue

Same issue with xoxorr.
I can't reinstall NTK Daemon and can't use native access since the update…

Native Access has been updated to version 3.13.0 have you tried exit N.A. and then install latest version on top of old ?
And if that doesn't work then try uninstalling and removing any trace of both Native Access and NTKDaemon , including using the N.I. reg tool , then re-boot and then try installing latest version of N.A. ?

Yes to both, neither approach worked.

Success. followed these instructions: especially this section:
>When it's not started it will go through the process of checking if it's started, starting it with normal user priviliges ( which doesn't work ), so it thinks it's not installed. Extracts 2 .bat script, to launch the NTKDaemon setup exe located at C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Native Access\resources\daemon\win\NTKDaemon 1.15.1 Setup PC.exe
thnx @OmegaII
the NTK daemon was not installed in the regular setup process, and finding the sub installer and installing by hand as admin is what did it finally.
a day later my five minute addition of a new kontakt instrument can be done

Thank you for sharing what was your solution 🙂
As for getting the NTKDaemon installer by itself then your post didn't make it spring to mind to inform you about that but I have described it in this post around same time as answering you !

Hey xoxorr, this is odd, as when NA is trying to install the NTK Daemon it actually explicitly asks you for elevated permission. I'm passing it on to the team.
