Since NA version 3.6.0 uninstall is available for instruments and expansions. We're looking into scheduling the work for applications and plugins moving forward. There's an interactive guide available for those types of products instead.

Hey, we recently noticed an issue where in certain regions in the world some products failed to install at an exact download position. We've flushed the servers so this issue should be resolved, and we're going to follow up and investigate how we can detect these issues in the future before they happen.

    Hey! Great post here.

I want to preface that the topic of tracking is a touchy one to discuss, internally and externally. Please refer to our Privacy Policy.

We intend to integrate it better and to feel less like an ad. We want it to feel more like a way for us to communicate to you what is going on in the ecosystem in the form of in-app announcements. To do that, tracking obviously helps us personalize, but there are ways we can do this already in compliance with GDPR without tracking personal information. We can tell that your Native Access app has Kontakt in it, and as such push Kontakt-relevant content and remove Kontakt-specific promotions.

There's loads we intend to do with the feature. As it exists now it clutters the interface and has no personalization at all. This ad will disappear on January 15th and we have no plans at the moment to bring it back. I'll share more once we release 3.9.0, which is when the new iteration ships.

Hey, we render this issue when we can't contact the NTK Daemon service. Try quitting that service and restart Native Access. If that doesn't resolve things, please go to customer support with a daemon.log file at the ready. This will help us determine if this is a crash or something else and will help us debug!

We started this project as Native Access 2 internally. By the time we shipped it to users, we began to see users and employees confused with the two "versions". The reality is that this is THE Native Access we support. It was however not in a great state when we shipped, and as such many users were still sent to Native Access 1.

There's still a lot of work to do on the live version of Native Access, and as such we're not spending time addressing this issue for now. We apologize for the confusion!

Hey, could you try again? We recently addressed an issue where in certain regions we delivered a broken version of the product, and are looking at future mitigation opportunities.

I want to highlight that this is not an NI-driven initiative. Native Access is not being worked on for Linux systems. Please be careful using this.

Bearing in mind how many problems were seemingly present in 3.8, is it worth considering bringing back the beta program? It wouldn't catch all the problems but might be helpful.

I have serious problem with GUI. The MENU opens on another screen, or at least far away from KK window.

I use Win10-Pro/Ableton11/4K screen. I did not have that problem with previous version of KK.

    any fix for that ?

    Thankyou for your response Hayo_NI.

    "feel less like an ad"

At the end of the day - if it walks like a duck, waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck, what is it? IOW an ad is an ad. I'm hoping what ever you do it goes behind a single unobtrusive button, which preferably doubles as a killswitch to disable any tracking? I still want to see ANYTHING to do with tracking and most certainly personalization to be optional, preferably OPT IN.

"touchy one to discuss, internally and externally"

It shouldn't be if you're wanting to be transparent about it. Of course I don't mean if this in any way pertains to compromising your site. I read your Privacy Policy. I appreciate that people can choose to block a lot of stuff . One way is managing cookies, supposed to be at the foot of each webpage, but I can't see any reference to that in my browser. What am I missing?

I have concerns about a part of the Privacy Policy, specifically under the heading (bb) Facebook Custom Audiences (List Method) ..."To this effect, we transmit pseudonymized email addresses to Facebook...."

1/ I dont have a Facebook Google or Twitter account. From the above its not clear whether you send ALL our email addresses or just those who have accounts there?

2/ Why do we have to object in this way (below in bold italics) when for almost everything else you say "You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect by deleting cookies in your browser or in the cookie settings."

"We use the Facebook Custom Audiences list method in view of our

legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR) in optimizing our

advertising campaigns, which may be objected to at any time with future effect by notifying our data protection officer accordingly. "

ON another note, early last year I posted here and liased with support, about a KK update hard crashing Logic, which was never resolved and support just dropped off the radar. I got a previous installer which I'm still on. Ive waited all last year for things to improve with KK but seeing all the issues plus recent updates seeing features dropped I've been reluctant to update and Im still waiting. I really hope things get re-instated and stabilized.

Im looking forward to what you say at the 3.9.0 update.

Sorry for the long post and thankyou for listening.

Just out of interest, why are people so against companies collecting usage data from applications, especially anonymised data? Personally it doesn't worry me that much if NI know that I've used a particular expansion or that I use my keyboard connected to Maschine. There was a comment when KK3 came out where Matthew_NI said "we have a lot of data about how people use KK" and someone said something along the lines of "I use blahblah feature all the time and it was left out", quickly followed by "I turn off all data collection". That's a bit like saying "I wanted Mr X to be president, but he lost. And I didn't vote because I don't want people to know my political views".

    Hi

    I did manage during Christmas.

Just trying to find what I did.

I forgot to mention it here.

... I think what actually fixed it was the 'latest' NTK which was not within the NA support page!

I initially remember I had the 1.13.1 version and I saw many mentioning the 1.14.1, but on Native Website support page the link still was for the 13 version.

Even the 14 did not work - do not remember where I got it, then Support helped me with the '15' version and that worked!

    NTKDaemon 1.15.1 Setup PC.zip

So, the problem is always NA NTK, as it has always been.

All this was to actually install Guitar Rig 7 LE to see what's what and it actually is better than 6.

I then browsed the internet to see for alternative applications trials and I ended up buying TH-U Premium instead!

I still do not understand why it is mostly put 'aside' by the whole media.

Overloud TH-U Premium is VERY good (check their site - still on offer - I am not allowed links!) and what made me decide the most - after I saw all the preset were excellent + there is a long list of free preset to download, was the fact the GUI (Graphic User Interface) developer did a great job.

We are like minded in the sense of how he did design it.

Straight forward, without all the distraction around most other applications have - I guess to ask you for more money too, that a guitar player does not need!

I even got it with 60% discount and support does reply with help needed.

They should give them an award!

No, I do not work for them.

Hey aka, please create a post in Komplete Kontrol's community page. This one is specific to Native Access.

... and you can control it using an external Pedal + 2 switch unit - MIDI connected.

I may get those too and I am not a live gig person (as I should have been decades ago), just hobbyist !
