Again, search for Windows Updates, and look if Defender Security Intelligence gets updated. You're surely still on older virus definitions.

    Maybe this could help:

I got this message for Kontakt 7 Player update and update got an error too.

I deleted Kontakt 7 Player at programm folder.

In Native Access it got the info that player must be repaired.

I choose reinstall option under reapair.

After that there is no alarm and no update error.

So i solved half the issue in a weird? way; both windows update and defender were correctly updated to the latest version, but massive x still wouldn't install, the process would be stalled in native access, then it would get flagged and deleted by defender over and over...

Searching on microsoft forums for similar issues, they advise to delete the threat detection history folder in case of false positives, i did; relaunched native access, and massive x 1.4.3 was shown as ALREADY installed... So it somehow installed while defender was freaking out^^

It seems in my case, deleting the threat detection history did the trick.

Kontakt still gets flagged though -_-'

I'll let you know if aliens/illuminatis start contacting me in a few days :D

Оn Windows Pro 10 22 H2 versions, all archives are blocked by Windows Defender with Native Access 2, that I have all the updates installed, and Home version of Windows Home 10 22H2 does not block any archive with Native Access, everything can be installed, that I also installed all updates in the Windows Home 10 22H2, that I downloaded two Windows builds from the official Microsoft site, but it turns out that this is a problem in Windows that Windows Pro has a virus,or it is some kind of bug in Windows, how to explain it in another way. Well, I have two versions of Windows pro 22 H2 and Windows Home 22 H2 installed on different partitions, I divided the ssd into two partitions, Windows superficially installed on Windows. I have version Home 10 22H2 did not block me no archive with Native Access and the temporary files of the startup installer were also not blocked, I checked it.

If there is a problem, then it should be on all computers that Windows Defender blocks this archive, and it turns out that Windows Defender blocks this archive on some, and Windows Defender does not block this archive on others.

Temporarily disable Defender real-time protection, run the installer. Done!

I completely uninstalled Windows Defender, all its folders and files, and it installed itself again, then uninstalled it again, turned off the internet, started telling me that Windows Windows Defender is damaged, and it shows this message every time, which Microsoft has the right to manage my computer, the fact that I use their product does not give them the right to decide for me, I am the administrator of my computer, I wanted to remove windows defender so badly, that is my own right.I don't want an antivirus, I check my computer for viruses with an antivirus scanner once a month, that's enough for me.

Defender still seems to act up even after updating to the latest version/definition. What helped me was just excluding the set "Download Location" folder.

With the same Defender Security Intelligence version?

Pretty sure it's a matter of which version of the virus definition files you're running.

I just tried again to install the NI updates on my Windows 11 machine, and this time it worked. So it looks like Microsoft may finally have fixed the virus definition files.

Well, it just turns out that the problem is when this update will arrive on my computer, it hasn't arrived yet, for some it comes sooner, and for others later,This is an update to fix this issue. well, I don't want to install Windows 11 and I won't, Windows 10 suits me.I'll just turn off the real protection on Windows Defender, why waste my nerves on it, then get angry, take it easy.

Microsoft will now say that we solved this problem only on Windows 11, for Windows 10 this update will not come to all computers, because they want everyone to switch to Windows 11. That this update will come to Windows 10, but not to everyone who uses Windows 10, because they have set restrictions.
