imagine writing software costing into the thousands of pounds and you can't even figure out how to package an installer properly or test it before release. lmfao

SOLVED. @JamesProductions brought up the following:

I made it!! So basically I was using this app that I paid to clean up my MacBook and I disabled some startup programs by accident. I reactivated all of them and it worked! My bad :)

EXACTLY what I had done months ago - used Mac Cleaner to disable some startup services to speed along my studio machine, and one of those services was Native Access Helper 2, which after a re-enable and restart fixed the issue entirely.

Native Access is already at version 2.2.0. It's being updated very regularly. If you encounter this issue, as mentioned at the beginning of this post, you should get in touch with our support agents.

@Jeremy_NI and others: after a night of headache trying to figure this issue out on macOS (I’m running Monterey on an Intel MBP), I found a solution that worked for me. Oddly, on the first computer I installed NA2 on, I didn’t have this issue at all.

It seems that NTKDaemon actually wasn’t running on my second machine, and even when I used the cleanup tool and standalone installer linked in this thread, I couldn’t get it to launch—even though it did install correctly again, and even trying to manually open the NTKDaemon app in HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/NTK/ with a double-click.

BUT, by doing Show Package Contents for the NTKDaemon application in that directory and dragging the NTKDaemon executable in Contents/MacOS inside the application package into Terminal to run it manually, I was able to launch NA2 and it did not get hung up. Went right to the login screen. Even after terminating the daemon, NA2 now runs fine on this machine, and NTKDaemon launches on its own as expected. So I assume there was some connection that the NTKDaemon helper wasn’t making because it wasn’t open, and so NA2 just hung there waiting.

Hope this helps someone out who’s going through the same headache! Jeremy, feel free to pass this to support if helpful.

I fixed it! I had another older version of Native Access that was named "Native Access 1.13.3 Setup PC". I uninstalled the program, reinstalled with this EXE file and then it auto updated. Now all is working normally. Thanks to Withajay who must really kick ass to have fixed it in a few minutes and saved himself all the trouble of contacting Native Support to tell them all about his system. LOLZ!

Email me and I can send you the EXE file or contact me thru Instagram.

Latest 2.3 and still won't install. (mac ArM or Intel) Dependencies and nkdaemon reinstall didn't help. It just doesn't work.
