Hello to all members of the NI community.
As I am new to this forum, I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to read my post.
I recently purchased a Native Instrument 360 subscription with 230 plugins, but I am having enormous difficulty downloading and installing items on Native Access 2.
For your information, here is my computer hardware, in case it helps to solve my problem. I have Windows 11 and my storage capacity is currently 468GB used out of a total of 475GB, so I don't have much space left. I don't have an internal SDD hard drive, but I do have a 1TB external hard drive. I work on Ableton Live Suite. You will also find several screenshots illustrating my request attached.
First, I started by downloading all the subscription items on Native Access 2 (those in MB and GB), but I automatically received an error message preventing me from continuing the download process: “Insufficient disk space to download and install your products...”
So I decided instead to download and install the items one by one, but only those that were the smallest in terms of storage capacity, i.e. those in MB. However, the process was horribly slow, taking at least three hours just to download and install a single plugin of barely 40MB... I continued to download the products (in MB) anyway. I finished downloading them all after three days.
Then I tried to do the same thing by downloading and installing the largest items, i.e., those in GB, but unfortunately, this time, I couldn't download any of these plugins because a new error message kept popping up: “Insufficient disk space to download and install your products...”
As a result, at the time of writing this post, I am still stuck and have more than half of the plugins from my subscription left to download and install on Native Access 2 so that they can then be synchronized with my Ableton Live Suite DAW.
I read on the Native Instrument forum that the solution could be to purchase an internal hard drive, which could make up for my computer's lack of internal storage capacity so that I can download and install the rest of the items.
I think that all of the plugins that remain to be downloaded and installed on Native Access 2 represent about 400GB.
I hope I haven't been too long-winded in my explanations, and I apologize in advance if some of you find my post a little too long. Thank you.
Best regards,
N.L
