Is there anywhere on the website where we can see if updates are available. It would be nice to know this without having to start up NA on the off chance.
To get notified without open Native Access? No, i don't think so.
You can check updates here, on the right side of the main pages of each category:
But still, those are posted after the update, not before.
Newsletters might partially do the job, but, again, after the update, not before.
As you can see, the fastest way to be informed about updates, is to simply open your Native Access for less than a minute… it is not that slow!
I’m on Mac mini m2 , somona , occasionally it asks me to log in again , what I do is quit and open it again and it logs me in correctly, on the old version of NA (2.0) it always asked me to log in
Hello all, I guess the enclosed screenshot says it all.
By the way, thanks to all for helping!
That would be very good Jeremy. You know that complaints have been many. If I might also give some advice: please see to it that names are unique, exist and are the same at every turn. It does not help to call something help center if it does not exist or cannot be found. Please look at the enclosed screenshot. I was logged in, no "help center" so I clicked support, no button for "need any help" nor "contact support", I then clicked native access, still no buttons, etc… This should not happen. Using the same names for the same item at every turn and making the system linear and logical instead of side-jumps everywhere should avoid this.

that’s incorrect info , it definitely stores my login details , and you don’t need to tell it to remember them it should do that automatically
Open Mac settings and go to privacy and security, I know youve checked full disk access and local network
try automation is there a com.native-instruments.native access listing in there , click on the arrow to see if system events is checked
also check under general / login items and extensions
I looked in the ticket, it seems it's a misunderstanding. My colleague did not understand that you had to log in to Native Access every time you want to open Native Access, I've put a note to him, he should get back to you and transfer the case to a Native Access specialist. You could have stayed in the chat and ask for more information, it would have been faster than reporting back here.
Same here.
I am constantly logged-in on Native Access, since last May or June (at least!)
That's why i mentioned the possible cookie solution, on the previous page.
There should be a specific file where NA keeps the login info. I will search my system and will reply back
@Mert_NI Maybe you have some tips to share on this?
There is no com.native-instruments.native access listing in automation, and I do not seem able to add or remove anything there. The only app there is Onyx.
ok tbf I’m not sure what automation is for , I just noticed that , in mine I have NA and maschine 2 , vlc and terminal. VLC check box is for music .
Onyx is a free maintenance app.
yeah I’ve got it installed on my other Mac , mainly for scheduling, as Apple removed that from Mac OS
I meant I’m not sure what the automation thing is actually for
I see, well neither do I 😀
