About your ideas for Maschine 3

I think it would be mad useful if maschine adopted the favorite system from Guitar rig. like 7 colors instead of A star. Then when i Favorite expansion groups i can mark them with a color that would represent (hiphop, trance, lofi, boombap etc…)

"Comparing my workflow in Maschine 2 SW, I'm noticing CPU spikes, latency, outright lag, some crashes from NI partner plugin companies, GUI issues (screen stuttering, unscalable VSTs, a weird grid glitch on the piano roll and Midi Map at times, image 'waving' like ocean waves moving across VST GUIs), just to name a few."
Hello,
Same problems. And I even had to uninstall the Captain Plugins Epic plugins in order to stabilize Maschine 3. Maschine 3 systematically scans these plugins even when deactivating in the preferences. It's very strange.
The CPU consumption is much higher with Maschine 3 compared to Maschine 2, by loading a few plugins it becomes very unstable with a lot of latency.
NI still has a lot of work to do to correct the many bugs and improve the stability. As a beta tester, in my opinion, NI offered the public version too quickly.7 -
The startup logo is definitely a bit hard on the eye lol

Please bring back fullscreen mode. That bright white bar is hell. It doesn't look like that in the picture, but it's completely annoying on the screen.

i very much support this request. I never found a good workflow with Maschine for adding guitar or vocals to a song arrangement. It’s one of the reasons I just bought an MPC key 37, running the MPC 3 firmware….
If NI manages to improve audio recording in the song arrangement, I may dust off my Mk3…

You have 16 MIDI channels and 16 Audio.
Looping is quick and easy to do even without thinking about syncing
Don't Rush it's better to do what you know and after week you will be left with few more features and routing is one of them, be patient.

This is 500% true, NI. Your new graphic designers are inconsistent as hell, and the new branding is full of confusing instances of poor taste and bad technique alongside eye-catching design. The microscope art and 3D stuff is pretty cool looking, but the fonts & the random slanted lines that encapsulate the NI logo are pointless & amateur; The needless visual rebranding of this company is going to be retroactively credited for its downfall. The old blue/white logo was iconic, as were literally of of the old app icons! It's so bothersome because ALL of that money could have, and SHOULD HAVE, been spent on developing the actual products we're using!

Hi NI,
I'd like the Maschine team to focus more on the Maschine + Komplete Kontrol functionality.
Customers who upgraded to the MK3 Series keyboards who use Maschine as their daw we're told we we're getting an upgrade, but received a downgrade of features.
Please support those that support you
At least give us the features we had in Maschine 2 + Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6

It's pretty distressing that numerous people have complained that the new interface is unusable to some, causing fatigue and eye strain, mainly due to contrast, and this has simply been either ignored and/or poo-pooed.
This is not just an aesthetic issue, although that is bad enough, I for one, simply cannot use Maschine 3 as it is too uncomfortable to use, so I'm having to stay on 2. To me, the 'new' design would be highly unlikely to have been accepted as professional at any college I've attended.
I can't find anything good in the lack of responsiveness from NI, and it's actually making me start to look elsewhere, which I really would rather not do, but it doesn't bode well for users when their genuine concerns remain unheeded.

LMAO come on, it's obviously not NI's users who are downvoting the critical comments. Management: get off your sock-puppet accounts & earn your keep. The UI is kinda bad, and the fact that you can't tell & don't know is also pretty bad. You paid for that mess instead of hiring more developers to maintain the products you have with branding that was already recognizable.

What is there about a perfectly legitimate complaint about a user interface that deserves a down vote?
Whoever did this, please actually elucidate what on earth you took issue with.
How is it to anyone's advantage when numerous people have said they can't actually work with that interface, and they are somehow in the wrong? The interface can be amended, people can't change their eyes.
In my over 20 years of working on a computer, going back to the days of Silicon Graphics, I've never had an unusable interface until this. Sure, there's been some badly designed ones, but never one that was this uncomfortable to try and use.
I have a huge investment with Maschine of over 5000 project files done with it, so for me to think of having to leave it, it's got to be bad…and for some of us it is. And that's on top of the still very prevalent scanning issues that still remain……………………………….

Things NI spend money on, instead of improving their products:
- Product demos & tutorials that tell you things about the products that would only be impressive to someone with a double-digit IQ. Alternatively, Pre-Buyout NI used to put out midwit fodder such as "how to use Reaktor blocks to make polyrhythms" & a DSP Lecture that contained very little educational content or insight that would let newcomers begin to explore the subject on their own.
- Logo/Branding Refreshes that look worse and sully the legacy of the company-adding a reddit-style vote/downvote system to their forum so that they could make sock puppet accounts & hopefully sway user opinion via psychological trickery. (4 people downvoted that comment, so it must be worthless and that person must be bad!)
and btw, the new Maschine 3.0 interface appears to flicker on my monitor. I don't know whether it's the color combinations, or what, but my eyes perceive the various panels of the UI as randomly getting darker/lighter. At the very least, we need an option to bring back the old UI.

None of the rebranding understands or acknowledges what was actually good about its previous incarnation.
The icons and colour coding actually aided easy recognition. Seems a strange concept to upgrade something to make it worse, attempting to trade on the good things its rep had whilst rubbishing it in the process……………..
The Maschine GUI definitely needed updating, but mostly in terms of its architecture, which like so much of it is stuck in the 90s. That, of course, hasn't been touched………………………………..

it would be great to have a "color scheme" option in the preferences. Either with the ability to set custom colors, or to select some NI preconfigured ones.

I think biggest issue is that a lot of VSTs still have scaling issue, or plain together crash. Not sure if even PDC works yet correctly. While I understand it's intended for live use, most plugins can still be used with PDC with tolerable latency. As long this is not fixed small useability issues are the smallest concern and they will keep losing the very little user base that was ever left.
I mean great if all you ever use is their own Plugins, but even some of their own plugins like Neutron 5 don't scale correctly, which is pretty sad IMO and shows they are a bit clueless really what are the standards of a tolerable UX these days.
Sadly I'm considering selling the Maschine Mikro, if anyone even wants to get one at this point. Just lucky I didn't go for any of the more expensive models.
I could just get a bigger keyboard instead letting it just take space on the table unused. While there is a pretty neat 3rd party template for it on Ableton to use as a control interface, sadly I don't find that I will use it even for that very much.
