Hi,

Many want improvement on the new maschine 3.0.. of course stems which have been done already and nothing ground breaking will be the big push alone with .mp3 support which is over a decade old.. also better arrangement which is over 5 plus years old.. another not popular feature which I'm sure has not been addressed is better routing in your daw of choice for those that only use the software as a sound module like myself.. will it be a feature hopefully but all the silence is definitely worrisome of course they will rope you in on new Shiney controller that relies on the software..

I dont record into the software but if you create a beatin 3.0 I'm sure you cannot open in 2.0.. so if you run into a bug you won't be able to open legacy software

Does that mean Maschine 2 will become obsolete the moment Maschine 3 is launched or will it still be supported?

Maschine 2 will no longer be officially supported once Maschine 3 is launched.

Correct - projects made in 2 open in 3, but not vice versa.

What does this mean for the upcoming M+ update which improves the audio kernel? This update was supposed to be out by now..

I feel like the least that should happen to Maschine 2 from here on out should be a 100% version parity for both Maschine desktop & M+ standalone. I dont want to be stuck on Mas 2.17 forever..

Maschine+ will receive a free update at some point soon, that includes those features.

This is how it works everywhere, what's the problem? The software is arguably more valuable than your old used hardware, anyways.

I'd love the update to be free, but at the same time could care less if it isn't.

I'm confident people will find the pricing to be very generous too.
