Maschine MK2 software not in Native Access?
I am trying to use my Maschine MK2 on my new computer. Years have gone by since I used it last. I still have my old serial numbers and I inputted them into Native Access. Although I "successfully registered Maschine" on Native Access, the Maschine software still doesn't show up. Kontakt, Massive etc. all show up and install fine, but the key software, Maschine, is nowhere to be found. I understand that the software support is discontinued, but does that mean I can not use the old software at all? And, if I can use the old software, then what am I doing wrong?
All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Have you enabled the option to show legacy/discontinued products?

You can use old software, at least to some extend, on a compatible OS but Native Access will not show software that is not compatible with your OS.
Ending software support for some earlier generations of Maschine
Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on mac OS
Else then as PK The DJ writes then enable show Legacy software in Native Access settings.

I'm using Windows 11. I have enabled Legacy software and still the Maschine software does not show up.
I've posted below all the apps that show up in NA and you'll notice it's all there EXCEPT Maschine, even though I've plugged in my serial number multiple times and received the confirmation message that it's successfully registered.0 -
As far as I can understand then the "Maschine MK2" is hardware and you have given no information about what version of the Maschine software that you have.
I tried to look up what version of Maschine software that the "Maschine MK2" were sold with and if I can trust Reddit on this then apparently it were sold in two versions , one with Maschine software 1.8 and one with Maschine software 2.0
Quote Reddit : What makes it perplexing is that there are two boxed versions of the Maschine MKII: one with the new Maschine 2.0 software out of the box and one with the Maschine 1.8 (Inc. Massive Synth).
I've watched quite a few unboxing videos of both and it seems that the boxed Maschine 2.0 version only comes with 2.0, and the E-Voucher of course. Where as the 1.8 version comes with 1.8, Massive Synth and Komplete Elements (and the E-Voucher). / End Quote
And if what you have is only version 1.8 then that is not compatible with Windows 11 (Windows 11 Compatibility News) where first compatible version is 2.14.6 , but if you have only version 1.8 then it might not show at all in N.A. because it would then not be compatible with the OS (Where to get Maschine 1 software )
But if what you have is version 2 of the Maschine software then you could try to reset the N.A. XML to see if that will make the version 2 show , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access
If what you have is version 2 of Maschine software and you can not get it to show by resetting the N.A. XML then all I have link for is the Maschine2 Legacy Installers for Older Operating Systems so you would then have to ask N.I. Native Access and Installation Support for help to get Maschine 2 to show in Native Access. Then in case that you need guidance contacting support : Howto contact NI Support and Howto get in touch with our Customer Care

Thanks for the response. It was years ago, but, as you describe it, I think I had the version 1.8. That would explain why it's not showing up. Too bad! I was looking forward to using it. Thanks for your responses, PoorFellow

It still ought to show up on your MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS page. Further more then if you registered the device to another account and have the software there and you lost access to the account then ask Account Support Check this article "I Have No Access to My User Account"
I was looking forward to using it.
Windows 11 Compatibility News says that "Maschine MK2" is compatible with Windows 11 however then "Maschine MK2" alas appear to not be compatible with Maschine 3 software. However it is very recent that N.I. stopped selling the upgrade from Maschine 1.8 to 2 so at the moment then it is still possible that N.I. will let you have a complimentary copy of the Maschine 2 software if you buy an upgrade to the new version 3 software since you can not use V.3 with your MK2. However as a Moderator here I am not a N.I. employee so what I say do not count and you would have to ask N.I. Account Support or N.I. Purchase Support if they would be willing to do that.
