Why NativeAccess.xml file cannot be found in the /Native Instrument/service center/, folder?
Hey guys, I really need you help. The story goes like this, I just bought the Komplete 14 ultimate and It it took me the whole day to install all the content of the K14U, I left only the session string 2 to install the next day. On the next day, when I open the native access 2, I was scared to see that there are no contents at all to registered to my native access account. I tried adding the serial number for K14U, still nothing happen, Then i tried the solution to delete the nativeaccess.xml file as shown in the community. To my amazement, I couldn't even find the nativeaccess.xml file. I tried installing the native access 2 again, still the same thing happen. Can anyone help me?

Are you sure that you are looking at the correct folder?
Which is at:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center
If so, then be sure that you are logged in with the same mail/pass you use on the website
Also be sure that you run everything with admin rights (right-click Native Access and choose "run as administrator")

Actually, I am on a macOS with the m3 Max chip, I have logged in with the correct email, and yes i have looked at the correct folder, but there is no .xml file. Even on the Native access 2, there are no contents, I don't know why? How should I proceed?

I'm afraid you have to wait for a Mac user to reply, since i use Windows only…

Thank you anyway for your swift response my friend. I hope somebody can see this, It is a headache for me. I don't really have an idea, how something like this is possible.

Have you done the absolute most basic Mac things to do in connection with N.I. software ?
ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access !!! And disks must be of the right format !
On top of all of this then more Mac users have had 'issues' with the newest versions of Native Access (3.9.0 and 3.9.1) (Just in case then here is the link for NATIVE ACCESS 3.8.0)

Yes @PoorFellow, I have tried every probable solution i could find in the community, but sadly to no avail. If i resintall the NA2 3.8, will this help, and how do I prevent it from auto updating in the meantime? Thank you for your reply.

Your guess is as good as mine with respect to if it will work/help. There have been a number of problems and a number of solutions which have helped some and dome not with exact same problem. And as I wrote elsewhere then even if it should help then , under the circumstances , almost crazy that you can not prevent the app from auto-updating (I mean I guess that you could deny the app web access or possibly find some way else to neuter it , but since the N..A: functionality is DRM and download through web access then if in anyway neutered then it would also loose the functionality anyway)

@PoorFellow Thanks for the reply. I have created a ticket. I guess, NI should rethink the process of activating their products. If smaller companies can do it without any problem, I have no doubt for NI too, Because time is very precious, We can't wait around like this. Anyway thank you so much for the reply once again.

Created a ticket, too. Everything was fine... Stupid NA updated to 3.10, and all my products are gone. I can install Kontakt 6 Player, 7 Player, and Reaktor 6 Player. I don't need that ******. I have FULL Kontakt 5.81, Komplete 11 (none of the products are showing, as seen in this photo)... and Maschine 2, plus some free Expansions I got with my Komplete 11 activation years ago. This is stupid insane.
Tried deleting NativeAccess.xml. Nope. Restarted app, restarted PC. Nothing.
This is incredibly annoying. Incredibly.
I built a new PC for gaming and music, and all I had on there was Maschine 2, the Maschine 2 Factory Library, and Kontakt 5.8.1 so I could play with some older libraries I love (Sampletekk, etc). The plugins still work fine... but, NA is acting like I have never bought any NI products. See screenshots.

Try turning on Show Legacy products ! , if that doesn't help then because your products are so old then maybe you have to use Native Access 1 ?
Warning ! prior to downgrading then at least make a Windows Restore Point (assuming you are using windows !). Historically there has been problems upgrading to N.A. 2 (3) after having N.A. 1 installed and while the problem may have been fixed with the newer versions of N.A. then better safe than sorry (though in case of problems upgrading then it may require a thorough removal of N.A.1 also !)

Please do not place same complaint at more places wasting peoples time having to answer you at more places or people answering you either place not knowing that someone else might have answered already ! (Reference !)

Hallo, same problem here. I have a MacOs Monterey M1 Ultra and after updating Native Access to 3.11.1 all my products became DEMO and Kontakt 7 and Reaktor are gone! All the solutions proposed by NI support have not worked and I am desperate because I have a delivery and no one is answering my ticket. Furthermore, in a panic I repurchased Kontakt 7 twice, losing money and not solving the problem. Please tell me how you resolved this absurd situation

At the moment then you best bet is to try N.A: version 3.8.1 and then not let it update and also try the below :

Try Jeremy_NI's : Kontakt libraries go missing in Kontakt and Native Access.
else try the trouble shooter here : My Products Are Showing As DEMO in Native Access , especially '2. Your activation fails because of corrupted or missing activation tokens' and '3. You have corrupted XML files' (delete both NA XML and all offending product XML)
If the above doesn't help then try Jeremy_NI's latest 'invention' : the replacing of the XML file.
It looks like the Native Access.xml file downloaded by NA is damaged/incomplete.
In this example it is missing the Kontakt 7 entries, please try the following:
Delete the Native Access.xml in the following location and restart your computer and open NA
Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center
Mac: Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Service Center
Repeat until the missing products reappear/the products in demo recognise their activation again.
If this doesn't work, please download this zip file, unzip it and and replace your xml file with this one.
Otherwise if problem persists then please contact N.I. Native Access and Installation Support
At the page N.I. Native Access and Installation Support be sure to scroll down to page bottom to see if there is a log-in request , if there is then log-in , at next page again scroll down and small blue chat box ought occur within 15 seconds. Then write in chat box and when getting suggestions then select did not help when it didn't , that ought to bring you on to either chat with human or open a ticket. (You need to use a browser with Cookie , Security and Extensions settings that will allow for log-in on the page for the page to work)
