And I thought I had completed the transfer, but it didn't apply

Yes , opening a ticket with support is the only way of solving your problem. Nobody in the forum can help you with it. There is a sale going on which increase response times. So give support a week to answer and if they do not answer by then then politely update your ticket to let support know that you are still waiting !
