Software Transfere

Hey Guys, i borrrowed a Traktor Kontrol s3 from my friend and bought the traktor play 4 but i didnt know that you coudnt link it with another account. So now he gave me his native instruments account but he doesnt have traktor play 4 on it. thats why i tried to transfere my licence over to his account but it sayd i coudnt transfere it. please help me because i dont want to buy another licence! :)

As owners then both you and your friend ought to be able to transfer respectively the hardware unit serial and the purchased software serial if you want to. There is however the rule that you can not transfer hardware or software yourself within the first 60 days of registering the hardware/software.

So within the first 60 days then you need the help of N.I. Support. : Quote Matt_NI : All

Please notice that NI Support do not work weekends or holidays and that Monday is a national holiday in Germany. (it's possible that NI have Support staff outside of Germany that will have other work scedules)

Also please notice that when you contact NI support then you will receive an AI auto-response and it is important that you answer this response to let NI know that you still need their assistance. This is also valid in general , if you have a support ticket with NI then always respond to their emails as long as that you still need help , else the ticket will close.
