Maschine 2 Essentials - can't uninstall and doesn't show up?

I have this issue for a while now.

Native Access wants to update something called "Maschine 2 Essentials".

It lists me as having "Maschine 2 Essentials", "Maschine 2 Factory Library", and "Maschine 2 Selection" as installed.

Every update fails because it claims it cannot uninstall the old version of "Maschine 2 Essentials" first and asks me to do that myself.

Windows → Settings → Apps → Installed Apps shows no app of that name.

So I tried the tool NI Uninstall RegTool_64bit.exe from a help article.

It shows nothing named "Maschine 2 Essentials", though.

It shows:

Maschine 2

Maschine 2 Factory Library

Maschine 2 Factory Selection

Maschine 3

Maschine Central

Maschine Content

Maschine Controller MK2 Driver

Maschine Jam Driver

Maschine Mikro Driver

Maschine Mikro MK2 Driver

Maschine MK3 Driver

Maschine Studio Driver

When I navigate to "Maschine 2 Essentials" in Native Access and click "Open", it seems to open Maschine 2.

Does this mean, I should uninstall "Maschine 2" instead? (Preferrably through Windows → Settings → Apps, I guess?)

Hello,

i would try it (what you wrote) and also try the regtool with maschine content or factory selection after that try and if it not works. Maschine essentials is just the full maschine software with an smaller library, factory selection or something like that.
