Which License do I need to transfer when selling my Kontrol S4 MK3?

Hey there,

I have already sold my Kontrol S4 MK3 and want to provide the new owner with s transfer ID, but in my account in my registered products there is no S4 MK3. Is it "TRAKTOR PRO 4 UPDATE FOR HW" that I need to transfer? But this is an update and not a Full License?

Or do I even have to transfer anything, because the License is anyway bound to the hardware and the new owner gets the software when entering the hardware ID in his account?

You should transfer the hardware device serial using the transfer function. You can not transfer the 'base software' . The "TRAKTOR PRO 4 UPDATE FOR HW" sounds as a software and as not transferable anyway.

I can not tell why if you can not find your hardware device on account to transfer serial you will have to ask N.I. Support(all) , they handle all issues of registration and account.

Is it possible, that the hardware was never registered and i could anyway use it with traktor? I can not remeber entering the hardware ID in my account.

It's possible , but unless that you bought the device as new and never registered it then you should maybe check with Support if buyer can actually register the device (?) (Some 'new' 'returned' devices could also have been registered)
