Strange update behaviours?

Hello, i bought a new Macbook Air M4 and it runs on MacOS Tahoe 26.1.
I was happy to discover that most NI software installed and ran good on it, including Maschine 3.4.1.

But i also encountered some strange, and frankly illogical, experiences regarding supported versions and upgrades:

from my library the following software does not install:

- Prism (although micro prism does work ok)
- TRK-01
- Hypha
- Play Series Selection

Now for the strange behaviour: all versions of Kontakt Player, up to version 8 (8.7.2) can be installed and work correctly. Yesterday (4 december) there was released a new update for Kontakt Player (8.8.8) and this one unexpectedly DOES NOT install/upgrade. HUH? I know Tahoe is not officially supported yet, but it's mind-bogling that older versions (even Kontakt Player 6!) CAN install and run on Tahoe, while the most recent update, doesn't??

tnx, yes. I'm not working with an external HD, and all security&privacy rights are set correctly. This is also why older Kontakt Player versions can be installed correctly I guess. I'm confused by the fact that a newer version of Kontakt Player cannot be installed, while older versions don't have a problem.

Ok, tried to download from download manager, and install them from there. It seems the packages are not signed correctly, and thus refuse to install, even if i force them to install. Effectively the installers crap out with a message "could not install the software because there was nothing to install", i.e. I assume that the OS blocks access to any unsigned/wrongly signed executable or binary. Interestingly enough, it seems that some applications are signed correctly and can be installed, while others cannot, and it's independent from data/time or version.

Oh yes, i could install the new Kontakt Player 8.8.8 update through the download manager download, while it didn't install through Native Access manager…strange…
