Maschine MK3 Play Button in Ableton and Plugin Issues in Standalone
First off I want to say that I used to have the Maschine MK3 and had no issues, but I was running it on my Windows PC. I purchased a MacBook because my Windows PC would have issues with processing, so I thought okay I will get a nice updated MacBook for all of my music stuff. I don't know if the issue is with my configuration, hardware, or software related. I loved my Maschine MK3 as it didn't have many issues. I had to sell it when I moved. A few years has passed, and here I am with a Maschine MK3 again.
All of my folders and files are in the correct locations in the drive. I will provide screenshots here. My issue is that when I use Maschine 3 Standalone, I can use the play button but a lot of the plugins don't work so the groups aren't always complete. When I run Maschine 3 as a VST in Ableton 12, I can't use the play button at all. It wasn't like this in the past from what I remember. I was able to use it in the same manner as how it works in Standalone. I would be happy with a work around in either Maschine 3 as a VST or Standalone. I am at a loss on what to do, and am frustrated that I can't simply play and enjoy my Maschine MK3 for the purpose that I bought it for. Instead, it has become a piece of equipment where I only troubleshoot when I turn it on. Will someone please help me to solve this? I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe I am simply overlooking something.
I have a few questions, and I'm not the only one with this issue. When I load some of the groups specifically the "Goldy" group from the Aquarius set, I am getting this missing plug-in message. What is wrong with this? I have Reaktor, and it loads up in Ableton perfectly. Also, what do I need to do for the play button to work in Maschine 3 when I have it loaded up in Ableton? I don't get the plug-in missing error when I run Maschine 3 in Ableton, but when I run Maschine 3 standalone I get these missing plug-in errors.
The second problem I have is when I run Maschine 3 in Ableton, the play button doesn't work. If I can find a permanent solution to this play button issue that would be great as I can start to focus on making music with my Maschine MK3 instead of spending all of my time troubleshooting.
Please reply and help me to find a solution to these issues. Most of the plugins are working now in Maschine 3 so I'm not sure why there were errors in the beginning because I didn't really do anything special.

@benjammin33 Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear you're having issues with Maschine on your new Mac.
A few important things to check and consider.
First of all, make sure that all your NI applications and DAWs have full disk access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
Regarding the Play button. When used in a DAW, the play button will only work once PLAY was activated in the DAW. For ableton 12 you can have the transport of the controller control the DAW. You need to install these templates: How to Install Maschine Templates for Ableton Live
Now for the Absynth error message. Absynth 5 was discontinued a couple of years ago. For this reason, it never got an update ensuring it can be run natively on the new Silicon/M chip equipped Macs. So if you wish to use Absynth you should run Maschine 3 and Ableton in Rosetta mode: How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta If you are opening old projects that were using vst2 versions, you should also open these projects in Rosetta mode.
The only thing let would be the issue with Reaktor 6, let us know if after the full disk access thing it's loading normally.

Okay so I did go through all of these steps in order to make sure Rosetta mode is on and everything has full disk access to avoid any issues. As for the play button, this is working for me. However, I would like to know what method I can use to move the audio over as I will be using Maschine 3 as well as my other plugins separate from this. I'm happy to be able to experiment now and I feel like I'm no longer at a loss. Do you know where I can find a guide on how to better use Maschine 3 within Ableton?

I have a good one that explains very clearly how to set up things in order to have Ableton tracks controlling Maschine plugin, instead of using Maschine more limited sequencer. It’s in French. You can maybe use captions.
He uses Maschine 2, but the principles are the same.
