Why can't I download Kontakt or any other vst from Native Access?

Hi everyone,
I have a serious issue with Native Access. I can't download any vst or Kontakt to run those vst's. It only shows me Download failed and the file I'm trying to download is paused.
I have already tried to change the download location and delete the existing iso files within that location. I have also downloaded Native Access 2 already, but no luck.
This issue was there from the start, I haven't been able to download anything from Native Access. Does anyone have a solution? I'm using Windows.

The issue doesn't persist luckily. I can download every vst and Kontakt just fine now.
Every download finished :).
I won't need help changing the location, but thank you nonetheless. :)

First of all then we need to know what is your exact OS ? , your profile says Windows 10 , if you are using Windows 10 are Windows then fully updated ?
Also have you you any previously installed working N.I. products on the computer ? (just to know what to take into consideration if)
Make sure that you have full administrative privileges and access on the computer.
Also check these :
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
Allow an app to access controlled folders
block third-party app installations in Windows 11/10 (for how to unblock)
I have also downloaded Native Access 2 already, but no luck.
If you are using Windows 11 then you need to download and use latest version of Native Access for your OS.
If this does not install or work properly then tell what is the exact problem.
Try uninstalling both Native Access and NTKDaemon
Then run the reg tool and remove Native Access and NTKDaemon if still there : Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows)
Delete the Native Access folder from %AppData%\Native Instruments\
Then reboot computer
Then download and install latest version of Native Access for your OS as an Admin.
Then check if that helps and tell us the result or what the problem is and include information asked for above

I have Windows 10 fully updated. I've not previously installed NI products on this computer.
I have done everything that was on the list you have made, but none of it worked. The problem is not necessarily with downloading Native Access itself, the application downloads just fine. The vst's within the application fail to download. I'm very confused.

So you have downloaded and installed latest version of Native Access for your OS and it runs just fine ?
Does the NTKDaemon service run if you check ?

Seems to indicate that you were not actually using Native Access (v3.17.0) from the start.
If you were trying to get this going with Native Access v1 - that is a dead end.
Please confirm exact what version of Native Access you started with - before this went off the rails.

I've had Native Access 2 from the start.
It's running. I've also checked for updates in Windows again, but no new updates. Thank you for your continuous help btw, appreciate it!

Where exactly are you trying to download to, and how much free space do you have in that location?
You said you tried to change the location, but didn't say where it was, or what you changed it to…

I have found a solution:
It worked after trying different data servers (dns).
I don't know what the core issue is, but this solution worked. Thank you for your help!

I moved it to desktop downloads and made sure there was enough space :). But now that it's up and running I'll move it to the regular place C/users/public/downloads.

If N.A. 3.17 is installed and NTKDaemon is running and you have checked all the previous suggested then we are running out of suggestions fast ,
Just in good order then I will suggest that you Take Own of the Windows %temp% folder and that you check that the C:\Users\Public\Documents folder exists , but other than that and running N.A. as an Admin then unless that some other program or your internet equipment are blocking then I don't know what to try to look at.
But I can ask if @Mert_NI , do you have any suggestions here ?
Else to solve the problem then I think that you will have to contact N.I. NativeAccess and Installation Support.

If you have a stalled download in N.A. then to get rid of that then uninstall Native Access and delete Native Access folder from %AppData%\Native Instruments\
Then if you want then you can try installing manually downloaded files , e.g. : KONTAKT 8.1.0 (old since Kontakt is now at version 8.3)

Hello LilPier, even if you have told that the issue has been resolved, I wanted to get a confirmation before closing this thread. Does the issue persist? If so I can send you the direct download link for the Kontakt 8 Player which can help you further with this subject.
According to your screenshot, it seems like the Straylight is Installing, but it is not sure if it is stuck on that process or it is going on, can you also confirm that if there is an issue on that installation or not?
Also, please let me know if you will need any help while changing the installation locations so I can help you further with that subject.
