Demo versions appear in Native Access

Hello there, I have the following issue:

I have some products that I don't own appearing in my Native Acess. Once I install them, they appear labeled as Demo.

That happens with things like: Claire, Ceremona Quartet Ensemble, Hypr, the new Italo Disco, Luxa, etc…

Also a lot of Izotope stuff that I don't own (I own some, but not the ones that appear on Native Access).

What I have to do in order to get rid of this? Thank you.

Here you can see two pictures of this behaviour, before and after installation:

Be sure that you are using latest version of Native Access for your OS

try the following Trouble shooter here : My Products Are Showing As DEMO in Native Access , especially '2. Your activation fails because of corrupted or missing activation tokens' and '3. You have corrupted XML files' (delete both NA XML and product XML) then restart computer and log in again to see if that helps

If using Mac then also you ought to do all the Mac users must do when using N.I. software :

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)

Also then do not use Clean My Mac. (if having used CleanMyMac then you might have to reinstall the problem products)

And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network

If the problem persists then please contact N.I. Native Access and Installation Support .

    Thanks @PoorFellow

I'm not sure if you readed my post correctly. My products are not shown as Demo. I have all my products installed and running correctly. The problem is that some products that I do not own are shown in my Native Access. When I install them, then they appear labeled as a Demo (not before, as shown in the pictures).

For the rest I am with the last native Access version (3.17) and following all the general recomendations.

One would say it must be something related to my account, isn't? I once had a subscription to 360º, but it wast just for one month. Then I purchased a Komplete pack and stopped the subscription.

Sorry , I missed the do not own part. Please accept my apology.

As far as I know then your 'problem' is a known side effect from having had a subscription. it is my understanding that generally then Support can not help with that. But if you wish to attempt to get the issue fixed then try contacting N.I. Account Support or N.I. Native Access and Installation Support.

It's the same for me. I bought the update after testing the beta version. There are 2 license numbers in my account. But now only a demo version can be seen in Native Access. Entering the serial number doesn't help

To my knowledge, the only solution IS contacting support, since they have to manually remove something from your account (previous ownership of a subscription) in order for the full serials to be taken in consideration. Same thing is happening to people who participated in a beta.

The side effect mentioned is in fact a bug (or best said, a poorly designed program, Native Access).

Unluckily, how we are discussing in other threads, NI seems to be able to work only at one thing at a time. Last year was Komplete time, this year seems to be Maschine time. Native Access time was 2 years ago, when we had previous NA manager (unluckily now he left, which is not gonna help) advertising what they were doing/not doing (unluckily, once again, without big improvements… au contraire introducing new bugs/issues…). So…I don’t know if this problem will be solved very soon…

I hope Support will be able to help you by manually removing things from your account.

NI is the land of workarounds for years long issues that don’t get addressed…

Thanks for the answer again. As you say it's not a problem "per se", but having all the tools tidy and in place is a way to work faster and more efficiently. It is specially disgusting that these products aren't labeled as a Demo until you have installed it, it's hard to believe they don't do that in purpose.

Yesterday I spent another bunch of time dealing with this, specially after I discovered that some iZotope products that I installed (again) thinking I owned them, didn't had the -uninstall- button. Instead, NA indicates you a list of items and folders that you have to search and remove, in order to uninstall these products. Even after doing all this some of the plugins still appear as installed in my computer. A complete mess.

At the end, our time is not just money, but the most valuable thing.
