M3pro Macbook: NI Access from M1/M2-installer - being prompted to reinstall...?

Hello y'all,

as stated above, I installed Access 2 - as I am on an arm-laptop, I chose M1/M2 as installation package. All went smoothly -at first, that is:

  1. download of installer without problems.
  2. installation of excess 2 without problems.
  3. a pop-up informed that A2 would be installed as soon as I would shut down A1…
  4. Thus, I did as ordered…

NOW:

A2 did open alright, seemingly all my (officially bought!) NI-products were found. Great!
Or so I thought: whenever I start A2, I get that pop-up again, telling me my version is not compatible with arm-chips, and I must d/l A2 again.
Did that once - no avail; popup still showing up?!

Admittedly, my machine is already on big-ole-tree-with-funny-name: Sequoia… after it got its 1st OS-update. Since everything but A2 has been running reliably, I would really like to avoid returning to SONOMA (had to roll back once, a few years ago. Took about a month to get my machine to run stable again afterwards).

I did not find a description of this specific problem anywhere, therefore I decided to post here, hoping for your help! Maybe, someone ran into the same problem and has found a way to get A2 to work as it should… Any help will be greatly appreciated, especially since I was planning to upgrade my traktor to V4 (geez, last week I got to play w/ that competitor's software, you know the one w/ flexible beatgrids!

Thx in advance; if you need any further information, pls just let me know!

Marc

One more thing: Can anyone confirm that I'll be notified of new posts here after I "bookmarked" this thread? I posted before, and th epoor guys trying to help had to wait for months for my reply, since I am quite sure I didn't get any note of their replies… thx again!
