Its been over a month - Is there any word on this?
Also, I dont want to update to NA2 at this point. If I run NA will it automatically update to NA2?

It shouldn't do. I've had to revert to NA1a few times, and it didn't do an automatic NA2 update

NA Version 2.4.0 w/ Windows 11 (10.0.22000) also produces this:
Tried (everything) with Run as administrator, uninstall, reinstall NTK daemon first with both versions 1.5 and 1.7, no luck.
:(

Thankyou for your input. Was this just in the last day or so or a bit longer. Really dont want to grapple with funky stuff in NA2 right now, but would like to just check for any product updates.

@Jojo123 Yes, this is what the team said:
Our goal is not to track user devices or user tools, our goal is to track our app’s ability to execute tasks. Our data tracking implementation is developed in accordance to current legal requirements. This change was to anonymise the data beyond what is legally required. Additionally, we do not use this data for marketing or business purposes. You can read https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209545029-What-is-Usage-Data-Tracking- for more insight into how we track data in Soundwide.

Have you tried the steps outlined in this article? Native Access Error: "Please grant permission to NTK Daemon to install dependencies"
If that doesn't work, you'll need to get in touch with our installation specialists (link is in the article)

Thankyou for your response. In that article you link to it says:
"Native Instruments introduces Usage Data Tracking technology which
enables the NI application to automatically track Usage Data that you can choose to share with us."
Can I verify if that choice still remains?
Thankyou.

Do you have issues with Kontakt libraries ? If you want help on the matter, maybe give us more details of the issue. How is your issue linked to Native Access 2, the subject of this thread?

Last time was a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing here but NA2 is I believe a rewrite, so I think you actually have to download it to install it. Bottom line is if you install NA2 you can always uninstall it and revert back to NA 1. I have had to multiple times especially during testing.
Sorry I thought I'd posted this days ago, but it appears to have saved the draft instead

Just to confirm. I had to revert to NA1 today and no attempt to make me upgrade to NA2

Why doesn't it remember my username and password automatically when upgrading to v.2? I had to got to Chrome to fish them out. It should be automatic - I have Komplete 13. Not a big deal, just a nuisance.

I have Spitfire's Cinematic Pads, and it doesn't show up in Native Access 2 either. Maybe because it's a 3rd party Kontakt instrument, not from Native Instruments. So it could be some contract issue between NI and 3rd party vendors - I have Heavyocity's Scoring Guitars 2 and it does show up.

Thanks for that. I hope NI don't just spring it on us but gives us a heads-up first.

We'll let you know here when this happens. There are still issues that need to get fixed in Native Access 2 before having the auto update from 1 to 2.

Spitfire's Cinematic Pads comes with it's own plug-in and is not a Kontakt library, so it's not being deployed by Native Access, or are we talking about another product than this one ? https://www.spitfireaudio.com/originals-cinematic-pads
