Maschine crash with M1 Mac
Having issues with the Maschine software plugin and it constantly crashing, pretty much all the time when I'm cycling through groups, sounds, instruments etc I'll hear a couple of pops and clicks and then it just freezes and I get the spinning rainbow wheel of death. It doesn't matter how long I leave it at the point to try and unfreeze / load it just continuously spins
I've tried all the trouble shooting fixes that Native Instruments suggests for Mac https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004036925-MASCHINE-Crashes
and nothing has fixed the issue, if anyone has any suggestions?

Maschine is indeed not yet officially compatible with M1, so crashes are most likely due to that.
Opening your DAW with Rosetta looks like the way to go for now.

I'm not sure if this is to do with my laptop being an M1 MacBook and is being caused by compatability issues, there is no option to open the Maschine plugin standalone in Rosetta mode though so does this mean I can only use as a plugin inside my DAW?

Hey so I had your issues.. Let me offer you what I did to get it to be stable..
First make sure your Mac OS is updated.
Once this is confirmed continue on.
I then opened up Appcleaner (not an endorsement) I'm sure there are other options similar to it out there it's just the one I've used for years.
I then went into Applications clicked on the Native Instruments folder & dragged the Maschine 2 folder into Appcleaner.
Then follow these steps to clean up whatever else might be left

Make sure you clear out your trash after you do this.
Now restart your Mac.
Once you are logged back on open up Native Access & install the Maschine 2 software.
You probably don't need to restart your Mac again but I did.
Next step is to confirm Full Disk Access for Maschine

Now go ahead and launch Maschine 2 software.
Good Luck

Addendum... there is a simpler solution out there now so this is probably not necessary. 🙂
