Do you Know how to Get Komplete Select 13?

Hi, guys.

I recently purchased the K13 Ultra UPG for "select".
Since it's an old product, I bought it at a very reasonable price.

Of course, it's an upgraded product from Select, so NI is doing it right now
I was sure it would be an upgrade to the K15 Select, which comes with multiple brands and NKS collaborations.

However, I heard that NI can only be upgraded from the same or lower version of K Select.

So, I'm trying to figure out how to get the K13 Select, but I just couldn't get it?
(I also asked if I could downgrade the K15 Select I'm getting now, but there's no answer.)

So I asked NI Support twice, but I haven't heard back yet.

In the past, someone said they had received the K13 Select as an NFR or NFT,
Why can't I get it?

I was going to buy an old version of a virtual instrument that is used a lot in the world at a reasonable price, but now I'm throwing my money to the ground.

    I read a comment some time back that suggested that Select might be a special case when it came to upgrades and that N.I. might have changed their policy so that you can use a newer Komplete Select as base for an older Select upgrade Problem with this is that N.I. will not give an official answer to that. I have asked someone N.I. myself and have been unable to get an answer and were told to contact support and ask them.

    So really , the only answer to the question if you can use Komplete 15 Select as base for a K13 Ultra UPG for "select" at the moment is : Contact N.I. Support (all) and ask them !

    I also asked if I could downgrade the K15 Select I'm getting now, but there's no answer.)

    Did you open a ticket ? If you tried to write an email address that you found somewhere then you will not get any answer. You must use the web-support support to initiate contact.

    If you already opened a ticket then please check your email spam folder and else politely update/bumb your existing ticket.

    Also please notice that there is a sale going on so that all support might be delayed. Further more then yesterday might have been a holiday and when those are at the end of the week then N.I. staff tend to take a long weekend - they do not work in the weekends….

    Mert gave me a flat answer.
    I just confirmed the validity of my UPG cereal.
    (Looking at the typos, it seems like someone who is not a bot answered.)

    It's really frustrating.

    I personally would ask again and politely try to specify at Mert_NI that your question was if support could please allow you to use the Komplete 15 Select that you do have on account as base for a K13 upgrade for Select.

    Mind you then in any case then I do not have any access to your account and can not see if you have already used the K15Select as base for another upgrade. And also , in any case, then it is support that are in charge of all of this and as I wrote in the above then the official response to questions such as this is that you have to contact Support and ask them, so in the end then how support decides that it is then that is how it is. That however should not be any hindrance with respect to sending a polite attempt to clarify or specify if you think that you might have been misunderstood. Please however always remember to be polite and civil , also after , the support crew are people hired to do a job, they are not themselves responsible for the policies made that they have been hired to 'enforce'.

    It is sort of simple. If you have K15S at your account and Licence Transfer of K13U Upg. is accepted, everything should be OK. In my experience it works so that if system does not find apropriate Base Product for Upgrade/Update it will not proceed Licence Transfer. The transfer would be refused as there is no Base Product to Upgrade/Update on account.

    But is there K15S anymore? There are three partial K15S bundles, but it seems to me that full Komplete Select has disappeared starting v15.

    Hello.

    That's right, K15s is not compatible with the k13 upgrade.
    I got all the k15S series (3 types) because I have a lot of hardware.
    Still, I hope there are measures such as downgrading K15S for customers who purchased the upgraded product. :)

    @PTK Your request was escalated to a more senior agent. My colleagues will get back to you as soon as possible. You bought an upgrade to Komplete Select 13, most probably second hand, as these upgrade paths are not available anymore on our end. This upgrade path only works for Komplete Select 11 to 13 and not compatible with newer Select versions. It might be something to clear out with the seller as well.
