As you were told earlier today then if you have any problems with using the N.I. software then if you want help then please either contact N.I. Support or open a new thread of your own in the appropriate sub-forum. : , e.g. in the Native Access sub-forum and then please include all relevant information about the problem , including computer type , exact OS version , version of Native Access used , and description of what exactly is the problem and screenshot of any errors.
We want to try to help you if we can and if you act in a way that allow us to (Please watch your language and remain civil even if you are frustrated)
In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care

2025, updating from Native-Access_2 v3.16.05 (which works fine) to v3.17.0.59 and get the same error "please grant permission to native access to install dependencies" - this is not the first time NA has failed to update, I had this issue last year. It's an old bug that has not been fixed and has nothing to do with administrator rights.
The information given at https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/13712583860125-Native-Access-Error-Please-grant-permission-to-Native-Access-to-install-dependencies does not work, and the link to NTKDaemon is an old version. (though you may find the newer version that works in C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Native Access\resources\daemon\win !)1 -
@Matthew_NI or somebody, can you please ask the web team to constantly update articles such as the one in the above comment? It is not the first time i see this.
We suggest solutions and the people ended up with old versions that make things even worst!
Thank you :-)

However @Mahn this is not a bug and it has to do exactly with the below issue:
You are guests on your own systems, instead of admins! It is indeed 2025 not 2005… the worst thing that can happen ever, if you make a critical mistake as an admin (which is extremely rare) is to restore your Windows… which is just few clicks and half hour work by the computer itself. Without loosing any files or programs. The benefits, on the other hand, are unnumbered!

Hopefully, this will assist with the installation of Native Access on PC. I'm not sure about Mac.
- Install NTKDaemon per instructions: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/5706203334161-Native-Access-Freezes-on-Installing-Dependencies-at-Startup.
- If you're still having startup issues then uninstall Native Access.
- Create a New User Account by clicking on the Start Menu and typing, Control… You don't have to create a password for the New User Account.
- Make the New User an Administrator.
- Next, sign out off your PC and login to the New User Account.
- Use the browser to navigate to: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access/
- Download and install Native Access and it should automatically log you into Native Access.
- Next, logout of the New User Account and log back into your account.
- If Native Access is missing, then re-download it again and install.
- You should now be good to go!
- You may now delete the New User Account and enjoy!

I have just tried Xerxes suggested process above, dated 10 May. On my Windows 10 PC I needed to create a new user account in a different way to that suggested, but nevertheless it was a straightforward step. The process worked, and Native Access 2 version 3.18.0 is now working correctly for me.
Thank you Xerxes.
I have a number of maintenance programs for my music software, including Steinberg's Download Assistant. None of them have caused anything like as much grief as Native Access, which has wasted considerable time for me and, judging by what Google tells me, for many other users of NI software. It seems to me NI need to reengineer Native Access, which in its current form must be doing them significant reputational damage.
