do you have the Komplete audio 6 mk2? Is it still worth buying? I have the old traktor audio 10. Been working perfectly all these years but now that I have several standalone instruments I have loads of projects scattered around on different units. Would you recommend the audio 6 mk2 as an interface to capture all my stuff from to Logic?

I would only recommend Komplete Audio 6 MKII to Maschine+ users. Its not a bad interface for the price, but there is so much choice now.. For me, its benefits over the competition kind of end at the official driver support for M+ standalone

but how is it recording other hardware into a daw on the audio 6? My audio 10 is still great, but can’t hook up other gear to it.

No idea, I only use it with my M+. Should work fine I suppose?
Why cant you hook other gear to your Audio 10? Just use rca - 1/4" adaptors

I’ve tried using the ”in” on my audio 10 and failed. Is it possible to use it to connect and record for example my mc101? Rca-jack cable.

So now this topic is about the use of the Audio 6…?
When it comes to using an external audio interface with the M+, one should take into consideration that it can only use 1 interface. Being it the internal one - or - an external one. Taking that limitation into account I personally find the Audio 6 to limited, because it effectively adds just 1 extra stereo output.
Same goes for the AUDIO4C, but its headphones output can also be used. It also has one extra trick up its sleeve and that’s the second USB-C port, which is also 15W powered. So it can also route audio and midi from the M+ to an iPad or laptop. It also offers extra midi in / out and a midi hub, all to be controlled by Auracle X software.
And then we’re back to what this topic is all about… the long awaited update to the M+ core software, with the improved kernel and class compliancy. After that we have to test and see what interfaces are stable.

Connect your audio 10 to your computer.
Open Traktor Audio 10 Control Panel.
Click on channel setup.Click unlock
Click on startup.
Make sure Direct Through is not selected on all 4 channels.
Make sure Input Sens is set to Line on all 4 channels.
Click lock
Disconnect the audio 10 from your computer.Connect to your Maschine+.
I can confirm that the audio 10 works with all 10 inputs, outputs, and midi with the Maschine+2 -
thank you! I will try as soon as I can! I’ll message you instead so I don’t pull the discussion again to a different topic.

Unless Audio4C is a Native Instruments product, it will not have a driver in M+, unlike the Kontrol Audio 6, Therefore, it will have to rely on the USB Class compliant mode, and its performance will be inferior even if it offers more channels.

Whatever… won’t buy an old model interface for just one extra pair of outputs.

It's totally your choice.

Still waiting for M 3.0 in M+ ;)

Still waiting for the latest version 2, too.
And there’s even a fresh ‘2025 and still waiting’ topic:
In the meantime NI did another internal ‘team shuffle’, so I guess they’re really busy realigning internal before external communications.
Hopefully ‘improving update strategies’ is also part of the alignment process.
