How is going the development of the new firmware update for Maschine + ?. Any progress? Can we know a date? Since the debut of Maschine 3.0 nothing has been heard about the firmware update. And even though I have paid for the Maschine 3.0 license, my Maschine + is still not compatible with 3.0.

NI. I would appreciate hearing from you on this.
Thanks in advance.

I doubt you will get anything more definite than "its coming soon". Seems like NI is a bit behind with their development progress, the next update was supposed to follow in a few weeks after 3.0.. and since then, crickets..

And that's what worries me. Silence or crickets.

As I'm reading around here, NI is asking users again about Maschine 3.0 ideas, preferences, needs, etc... But we also forget that Maschine + is not yet compatible with Maschine3.

I think that after so long waiting for the Maschine + firmware upgrade, and added to this the promise by NI in previous posts ... now is time that they concentrated on it and dedicate effort to finish what they have started. Am I right?

NI … any idea or words?

    … silence.

NI … any words? Or should I think that Maschine + will be another piece of gear abandoned by you?

Official support pages state that the update for Maschine+ should be released in late 2024 or early 2025. They are currently in beta testing. No signs for Maschine+ getting abandoned right now. Have a little more patience.

That's the only thing that makes sense. Past events and comments suggest that the staff get moved away from one job to work on another, meaning the first job drops in priority - to the point of being left in the corner doing nothing. One or two people go on holiday or they're off sick, and things grind to a halt.

Any testing must be purely internal at this point. So much for their release notes saying "coming soon"…

I saw Matt’s comment that is December-January but previous events shows that this date is more theoretical than real one.

Maschine should have option like Korg Gadget and other apps: Export to Ableton Live. Because this would be helpful to develop more complex tracks easier.

    🤣

I wouldn’t realistically expect an update release until February-ish.

I think the same, Q1 2025 is more realistic than January, and in my opinion this could be even early spring than last days of winter. 😉

While this is not a problem, the problem will be when you update and cannot roll back to the previous firmware.

I agree with you. And the silence of NI guys supports this theory.

I agree with this one too. The develope of Maschine 3 was stopped because "Kontakt 8". Now they seem to return to Maschine 3 (in my opinion a very small upgrade with few features), and with all the bugs people are reporting … well … I have no faith about a Maschine + firmware update.

Well, the previous firmware is not exactly something that makes me feel happy. Rather there are more problems and bad experiences that I have when trying to make music with Maschine + in Stand-alone mode.

My problem is just that. Leaving aside that NI has just left the Maschine 2 software unsupported... almost forcing me to buy version 3 (I'm a MAC user); right now Maschine + is not only not compatible with Maschine 3, but it still has many things that need to be fixed and many others that still need development.

NI continues to open new doors while leaving behind others that are not yet closed. And I doubt that he has enough people on his team to be able to defend so many open fronts.
