Native Access doesn't seem to have access to the disk, even though I have granted it
Hello,
I'm using a MacBook Pro with macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 and Logic Pro is up to date.
It's a bit complicated:
- I installed Guitar Rig 7 a week ago using Native Access and the NTK Daemon, but Logic refused to validate it.
- I followed the steps to grant disk permissions as explained on the Native Instruments support page, but it didn’t work.
- Frustrated, I uninstalled Guitar Rig and deleted the files (except for the cache, which I couldn’t find) as instructed by Native Instruments support.
- Now, I’m trying to reinstall Guitar Rig with disk access permissions, but it still doesn’t work.
Here are two screenshots: one during the loading process and one after the failure.
Screenshot 1: Before the failure.
Screenshot 2: After the failure.
Despite having granted access, the message still says I need to authorize it...
Any help?
Thank you,
Jérôme

And giving the local network access didn't help either ?
Sorry , I forgot : please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS) , and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats
If problem persists then please contact N.I. Native Access and Installation Support . In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care

Have you checked Network Access also ? (Reference below here) Also don't use CleanMyMac ! Clean My Mac causing a lot of issues with our products. Please read.
QuoteKymeia : Sequoia adds an extra step when installing NI Hardware(Keyboards or Maschine) and Native Access : I found when updating to Sequoia that Apple now requires many apps and processes to be added to the Local Network for them to function correctly and this seems to include NI HostIntegrationAgent and NTKDaemon, as well as most DAWS,and things like iLok.
So if anyone is having problems with NI hardware or Native Access on Sequoia you need to enable this. Apps requiring access should initiate a popup asking for access, but if they don't you can also go to the Local network panel and turn it on manually

After verification, the local access is fine...
Thank you.
